Final catch-up Learn to Sail classes on Sunday 25 May 2025 will be held at the Lake Samsonvale Watersports Association . 

This is the last chance to round off your skills in a safe, lake environment with gentle winds and no tide for the 2024-25 sailing season.

Morning Schedule: Junior Start Sailing 2 and Adult Start Sailing 1-2

For volunteers assisting with transport

• 7:00am Arrive at SBSC to assist with loading boats and equipment
• 7:30am Depart for Lake Samsonvale

For LTS participants

• 7:45am Depart SBSC or your home 
• 9:00am Meet intersection of Austin Road and Winn Rd, Cashemere (gate to Lake Samsonvale Watersports Association)
• 12:00pm End of class / sausage sizzle
• 12:30pm Depart Lake Samsonvale Watersports Association
• 1:30pm Arrive back at SBSC or your home

Afternoon Session: Junior Better Sailing and Adult Better Sailing

• 11:45am Depart SBSC or your home 
• 1:00pm Meet at intersection of Austin Road and Winn Rd, Cashemere (gate to Lake Samsonvale Watersports Association)
• 4:00pm End of class
• 4:30pm Depart Lake Samsonvale Watersports Association
• 5:30pm Arrive back at SBSC or your home.

• You will need to organise your own transport to and from the venue or carpool with other students or instructors.
• Please note the drive betwen West End and Lake Samsonvale Watersports Association is approx 1 hour
• No dogs allowed at Lake Samsonvale (SEQ Water Regulation)
• Please bring your own lunch and water
