HLTAID011 Provide First Aid is a workplace first aid course recognised in all Australian states and territories. The course teaches both the theory behind and the practical application of first aid skills pertaining to over 2 dozen of the most common first aid conditions and illnesses.
Training and assessment will be completed in class under the guidance and supervision of a qualified and accredited first aid trainer. The course does not include any e-learning. However, prior to attending the first aid training, participants will be required to read a provided first aid learner guide.
SBSC is making the course available free of charge to SBSC members under a grant from the Queensland Government Active Clubs program. The course will be provided by FirstAidPro.
The number of places will be capped at 11.
