The surroundings are correspondingly excellent with nearby well-lit off-street parking, and pathways and entrance graded for disabled access. Newly installed at the entrance is a large paved and landscaped area showing a nautical theme and allowing easy access from kerbside vehicles. Preferred community groups include children’s parties, weddings, craft and dance groups and workshops. The club is a responsible neighbourhood organization and does not encourage groups likely to disturb the privacy and enjoyment of nearby residents.
Casual hall hire can cost as little as $450; long term hire rates by negotiation.

- As our Club is run by volunteers, response to your request can take up to 48 hours.
- What type of functions can I hold?
- The South Brisbane Sailing Club exists in a residential Area and due to previous hirers disregarding this fact, unfortunately we can no longer hire the hall for sixteenth, eighteenth or twenty-first birthday parties. If your function creates excessive noise, this may result in the loss of your bond. Hirers must respect our neighbours at ALL TIMES.

- The Hall conveniences include tables and chairs for 100 people, kitchen servery, 1 double-door glass-front refrigerator, dishwasher, oven, stove, sinks and toilet facilities.
