How to enrol

How to enrol in a beginner level course for the first time

Step 1. Apply for Temporary Membership of SBSC via our membership page.  

If you are a parent or guardian of a child who wants to enrol in a LTS class for Juniors

  • (a) apply for your child to become a Temporary Member (Learn to Sail) of SBSC via our membership page using your child's name AND
  • (b) apply for yourself to become a Temporary Member (Learn to Sail Parent / Guardian) of SBSC via our membership page using your name

If you are an adult who wants to enrol in a LTS class for Adults

  • (a) apply to become a Temporary Member (Learn to Sail) of SBSC via our membership page.

You will then receive an email with your Australian Sailing Number and login details.

SBSC will upgrade your temporary membership to full season membership once you have booked and paid for your course.

Step 2. Book into the Beginner level LTS course that suits you best

Once you have received your Temporary Membership and login details, you can:

  • Login https://www.sbsc.org.au/login/ to view your SBSC member profile and available LTS class dates.
  • Enrol in the beginner level course that suits your availability (i.e. LTS for Adults, LTS for Juniors, or School Holiday Classes)
  • Book into all sessions for that course
  • Finalise payments
  • Use any applicable discount codes 

Step 3. Confirm your booking

  • You will receive a confirmation email from us
  • Our course coordinator will contact you to finalise arrangements before the course.

How to enrol in a second or successive course

Step 1. Speak with our course coordinator to determine which level is best for you or your child

  • Contact our Learn to Sail Coordinator to discuss if you or your child are best to continue in the same level or progress to the next level of training.  

  • Our Learn to Sail Coordinator will place you or your child in the agreed training course and generate your invoice.
  • You will receive an invoice and details on the course times.

Step 2. Pay your course fee

Step 3. Confirm your booking

  • You will receive a confirmation email from us

Our course coordinator will contact you to finalise arrangements before the course.

Discounts

Refund Policy

  • Full refund for any full course if seven (7) days notice is provided.

  • Full refund or make-up classes provided if a block of classes or any individual class is cancelled by SBSC due to weather etc.
